Secure File Transfer over SSH2 Unlike most FTP solutions, CuteFTP Pro gives you the choice to use the increasingly popular SSH2 protocol. Both password and public-key authentication are now supported, along with the ability to rename and transfer files in ASCII mode, a feature not available in most SSH2 clients due to limitations of the protocol. Secure Login Using OTP CuteFTP Pro integrates the One Time Password (OTP) authentication based on Bell Lab's S/Key technology. OTP authentication is accepted by many UNIX and some Window's FTP hosts, including GlobalSCAPE's Secure FTP Server. Multiple Simultaneous Transfers One of CuteFTP Pro's most powerful features is its ability to upload and download multiple files from multiple sites at the same time. Resume Broken Transfers When a transfer is broken for almost any reason, including a power-outage, CuteFTP Pro can automatically reconnect and resume the transfer* Not all sites supports transfer resume. In case of power-outage, the user must reboot their PC and run CuteFTP Pro for it to automatically resume. Severe blackouts may corrupt data on disk and therefore prevent CuteFTP Pro from successfully completing the transfer. Mission critical systems should rely on backup power, such as from a UPS. Users can configure this smart logic to suit individual needs or they can let CuteFTP Pro decide. FILE & FOLDER MANAGEMENT		Folder Synchronization Takes the programming out of synchronizing local and remote folders. This incredibly easy-to-use tool allows you to synchronize your site in one or multiple directions and even schedule recurring events for mirroring your site. Directory Compare This features allows you to visually compare a single folder's contents prior to running a synchronization task. Site Backup & Archiving You can schedule a single or recurring backup of your entire site. CuteFTP Pro will download the entire site into a backup folder, compress it (using ZIP compression), and then label it using the site's and time/date stamp. Folder Monitor With this feature, you can set a timer for CuteFTP Pro to check a local folder structure for changes. Powerful Scheduling Easily schedule transfers, backup tasks, and folder synchronizations. You can even schedule folder synchronization for automatic and continuous mirroring of local and remote directories. Custom Commands Choose from pre-defined commands or create custom commands to communicate with your server. Generally your ISP sends you a custom commands file (COMMANDS.DAT) for their Web server. Input Raw FTP Command You can issue various FTP commands manually like PWD or STAT through the user interface. Time Stamp Control Choose to preserve a server's timestamp for downloaded files. Choose to keep the locally defined time for uploaded files. Define the time offset for the server for greater efficiency in transfer and synchronization overwrite rules. The server must support the MDTM command. MDTM was not really made for this purpose but is widely used in this manner. Multiple File CHMOD Change the permission values of many files at once using the Properties command, instead of one file at a time as implemented in most FTP clients. Filtered Listings Configure include and exclude masks for displaying specific items in a folder listing. Use filtering to only download specific items or as a way of sending specific parameters to a server's LIST command program. Site Index (TOC) This will allow you to specify the different types of index files of various FTP servers available on the Internet. An index file will show you a description of each file that is on the FTP Server. Login to ftp.globalscape.com to see an example, you will notice that each file has a description next to it.
